Come Back Creative Mojo

The past few days I’ve been really in a creative groove getting things done and accomplished. I was just saying yesterday that I was happy with all the designs I was producing and how productive I’ve been. Well I think I jinxed myself because I think I hit the wall today! I spent a lot of time yesterday doing some design research for reference materials. I found TONS of cool sites, awesome cards and illustrations and fun stuff. I think all that eye candy put me into a sugary graphic coma and now I can’t seem to muster up my design mojo for the life of me. Although I’m finding this little rant/post creatively fun. Maybe it’s coming back to me…

Speaking of creative mojo the second week of the Stand Up & Scrap contest topic was posted yesterday. This week’s topic is: “What makes your life sweet? Where do you find sweetness in your everyday life? What about today do you want to remember for a lifetime? What happened yesterday that found you standing there with a smile on your face, or a tear in your eye? It can be as simple as an ‘I love you’, whispered across the room. It can be life altering; the birth of a baby, a brand new home. This week, we want you to tell us about your sweetest moments.”

I’ll have to give this some thought…as I don’t want to do something totally predictable and obviously me since I want to be able to keep this anonymous. I loved how my last layout came out for last week’s challenges. I really tried to push myself and do things l don’t ususally do…like extreme layering. I can’t wait to show you.
