Quick post to say “Happy 2nd Anniversary” to my husband, John. We had a lovely day together seeing the Brooklyn Bridge and exploring Brooklyn since we got married there and took pictures by the bridge. It was a nice little tribute.Â

I wanted to wish my friend, Kelly & her husband Chuck a wonderful anniversary. I’m posting this a day early since I’m not sure I’ll be around tomorrow. Pretty busy and tired today…bad combination! So I don’t have much to blog today but I found this video on youtube. It’s a montage of Dixie clips from when she was on Desperate Housewives. I thought it was pretty funny and a good recap of her guest appearance. BTW, she didn’t win the Emmy. She was ROBBED! =(

I’m a really big fan of Jennifer Garner and I’m thrilled that she is going to be in a play in NYC this coming October. I scooped up tickets when the show is in previews and I’m so excited I can’t wait! We splurged and got really good seats too…we’ll be super close to Jennie G!

I did this layout yesterday randomly and it came out pretty good. I wasn’t planning on doing a layout since I’ve been having “scrapper’s block” but it just happened. Don’t you just love that?! Anyways, tried to pull from my stash of things and used a bunch of new stuff I didn’t know I had. LOL. So take a look =)

Finally today, let us never forget 9/11. My thoughts and prayers are with the familys & friends today of all the victims.
I just saw Britney on the VMA’s and can we say terrible?! I was looking forward to her kickin’ butt and making a comeback but she just looked like a fool. Bad dancing, poor and blatant lip synching and she looks petrified! What was the point of this “comeback” performance if it was just going to make her look even more foolish. Oh Britney….don’t hit me one more time, please!
We started watching Showtime’s new show, Californication the other night and love it! David Duchovny is very good in it…a real departure from the charachers I’ve seen him play. It’s really a great show you should really check out! Speaking of new shows, I recently made a list of all the new Fall shows that I want to check out. I’m a dork but when you work in television it’s good to know what’s out there..that’s my excuse. LOL! Anyways, I am looking forward to all the premieres of my old shows, especially Men in Trees since the last 4 episodes from last season didn’t air. We just got a new TV with HD and all, so now I just need me shows to come back.
