There is no secret that I love green, so St. Patrick’s Day is the only time I can really let my green obsession go crazy. Who am I kidding, I always wear green and don’t hide it. Anyways, in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day (and yes I’m Irish too) I’m giving away my new kit, Shenanigans for FREE for ONE DAY ONLY (link expired)! HAPPY ST. PATRICK’S DAY!
Over the weekend I found a new scrapbooking store in the city. I came across it mentioned on someone’s blog and was excited to check it out since I was going to be in that neck of the woods anyways. After our lunch with friends John and I stopped by, Portrait Bug to check it out. The store although not fully super stocked is a cute store that has a cute idea behind it. It’s a boutique photography studio and scrapbook studio all in one. You can take photos there and then use them in your scrap layouts. They will ‘snap’ them and teach you to ‘scrap’ them. I’m hoping to be able to make it up there for a class sometime. Always nice to have another option and meet some new scrappy people in the city.
So while we were there I ended up buying a few things, one being Vintage Moon Paper Pack from Pink Paislee. I was very excited about this and HAD to buy it since my friend, Holly McCaig designed it. Now I have to put it to use.

Again I’m slacking on the blog postings, I know! I honestly can’t keep up with it on a regular basis. I am on Facebook and now Twitter, so I’m going to post my Twitter feeds on here as well to keep my readers up to date with stuff going on in my life. It’s just easier that way.
Since I was gone, I participated at a stamping/craft Make N Take event put on from a local stamping store, The Ink Pad. It was such a nice day and I learned so much. It’s great when they have demos and teach you lots of different techniques. Here are some of the projects I made from the day.
I think it’s inspired me to stamp more or at least want to. Now I just really need to find and make the time. I have been working on a St. Patrick’s Kit and that’s hopefully wrapping up soon. It needs to since St. Patty’s Day is Tuesday. So stay tuned =)
