Today I have something fun for you – Michelle Ward the When I Grow Up Coach has a super cool download in honor of her 100th Tough Question Tuesday and yours truly got to contribute a piece of art for it. The question I signed up for was, “Do you believe in passion?”. I choose this one because everything I do and create is fueled by my passion for creativity. It really spoke to me and I think we all have the key to unlocking our own passion. I even stepped out of my comfort zone to create this design too – I actually painted it with watercolors! Since I work with the computer all the time it was a nice refreshing departure to create something with my hands although I did add the other various elements in with the computer. So please stop by Michelle’s blog to say hello and download the entire high resolution Tough Question Tuesday document – lots of other fabulous artist have contributed art pieces as well. Thanks Michelle for letting me participate – you have no idea how you have helped me flourish this past year. YOU ROCK!
So, do you BELIEVE IN PASSION?

I’ve been super busy lately designing holiday cards for the fabulous Danielle of Dkol Photography and I thought I would share them with you. Slowly but surely creating Christmas cards has put me in the holiday spirit. So have you finished your cards yet?? Let me know if you need a design

This past Saturday I decided to attend the Martha Stewart Holiday Craft Sale, which is held at her magazine’s office. I had wanted to go last year but found out about it too late, so I figured I would make the trip this year. When I got there the line to get in way super LONG! I waited in the cold for about an hour and then an additional 20 minutes inside to get into the show. After all this time I was thinking to myself “This better be worth it!” Sadly it really wasn’t – there were some cool vendors there but nothing that inspiring. Plus it was so crowded to really look around and take it all in without fighting people in lines for free food samples. To justify my trip I ended up buying a jar of pickles my husband has been wanting to try. I also ran into 2 people I knew and discovered the Doughnut Planet is opening a new location closer to my apartment, so it wasn’t a total bust. Sorry, Martha but I won’t be attending next year but if you are curious you should check it out – just make sure to bring gloves, hat and a scarf!
And speaking of warm weather wear, Winter has finally arrived here on the East Coast. We were spoiled this Fall with such mild weather – I was getting used to it. I hate the cold weather of winter but I think it’s here to stay. We even just had a few flurries this morning, so maybe this will finally put me in the holiday mood…MAYBE!
Stay warm and I’ll be back soon – I have a few things lined up this week for you!!

Happy December! Can you believe Christmas is just 24 days away?! Today many scrapbookers started the December Daily that Ali Edwards is doing over on her blog, which is an album project that documents the 25 days leading up to Christmas. I’ve seen some great books and past projects that are really inspiring. I love the idea of this project but know myself and I couldn’t keep up with it. Plus I’m not a huge fan of Christmas, so if I did it I would complain for 25 days – is that really worthy of documenting? Well maybe but it’s not in my plans but if YOU like the idea why not try it! It sounds like a great way to capture the spirit of the season and extra special if you have kids. If you are participating in the project I would love to see your journey. Make sure to check out Ali’s blog for great tips on how to get started with your book and ideas to keep you inspired!
And speaking of Christmas and the holidays, Michelle Underwood has a new fabulous holiday kit out called Joy. I recently used it to scrap a holiday memory of my family from 2002 – that’s a long time ago! I hardly ever scrapbook my family, which I should – so this is a good starting point. More to come in 2011!
