I’m back! The updated site has been long overdue and I’m super excited to have it up and running, so take a peak around. A huge thanks goes to my husband, John for getting it up and making it look all spiffy. Speaking of John, I want to wish him a fabulous birthday today! I want to wish my lovely niece, Kayley a wonderful 4th birthday today. I can’t believe she is 4 already – where did the time go? We’re so glad that we can be apart of your life and watch you grow up. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for our Lil’ Miss Jersey Girl. Happy Birthday – Aunt Tara and Uncle John love you!
As I turn 33 today I want to take a moment to look back and reflection on this year and my life. Last year was one of the most challenging years I’ve ever faced but this year I decided to let things from the past go. Whatever shall be shall be. I live one day at a time these days. I’ve spent the past year rediscovering who I am, what I love and what makes me happy. I’ve put myself out there more with both success and some uneasiness. I’m not as confused or lost as I was a year ago although I still don’t have the answers. I have faith that doing what you love and surrounding yourself with people you love will see you through. I’ve made changes to better my life this year and will continue to make more changes and strides in the upcoming year.
Today would have been my grandfather’s 92nd birthday. So to honor him and his memory I decided to do a layout of the two of us. It was taken during one of my many summers in the Poconos sometime in the ’80s. I loved when my grandparents would come and visit. It was great to spend extra quality time with them and have fun. I miss them dearly but cherish every single memory I can recall with both of them. Happy Birthday, Poppie!
Happy 4th birthday to my little cousin Alex today! Hope it’s an awesome one and we’ll celebrate when we see you in a few weeks! =)
