I recently worked on some cards (a few hybrids) which came out great using various Michele Underwood kits. In case you don’t know the term hybrid it’s paper crafting but with the help and aid of digital scrapbooking elements and kits.

Speaking of Michelle Underwood she has a great contest going on her blog where you could win your favorite digital kit! All you have to do is go here - Michelle Underwood designs @ Two Peas in a Bucket and pick out your favorite kit!!!! Then leave a comment on her blog with your favorite kit and you are entered to win it. That’s it! Winners will be announced on April 16th (Friday)!

Been working on lots of Valentine’s Day designs lately – some new products at
Pink Ink Studios and some new greeting cards at my shop on Etsy.

Check them out and give me some love =)

Today is my little cousin, Olivia’s 2nd birthday – so HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I sent her a card I made and here she is looking at it.

Looks like a happy customer admiring my wonderful creation. LOL!

A few weeks ago I saw on Jennifer McGuire’s blog a technique that seemed pretty cool so I wanted to give it a try. I played around the other day with this card and gave her trick a whirl. I cuttlebugged the notecards with the Swiss Dots embossing folder, followed by some sanding. This revealed the white core of the note cards, which I then added dots of color with my makers. For the final touch I then die cut the paper with the Stampin’ Up Top Note die for the cool shape. Love how it all came out to make a more vibrant and textured background paper.

I’m in love with this stamp, Kissing Couple from Amuse Stamps. I used it a few weeks ago at a crop and fall in love with it. You can use it for lots of different cards and I think it’s darling. Here’s my latest and greatest creation with it.

I started out playing around with the ink background making it look like clouds and voila – came out pretty good! Oh so romantic!

Happy World Card Making Day!! This holiday is special for card makers around the world to celebrate the creativity of handmade cards and the personal connection that they create between friends and family! Since taking a break from my blog I’ve gotten into card making and rubber stamping. It has been a great way to get back into crafts and using my hands which I missed when I was working on the computer designing. Here’s a few new cards I made the last few days.
