Meeting Mr. Met

The other night we went to see a Met game at the Ziegfeld Movie Theatre in the city. It sounds weird but it was cool seeing it on the big screen. Plus we get to see the famous theatre and we even got free Mets tickets to a game and met Mr. Met. Here’s a photo of John with Mr. Met. Too funny!

Anyways, have a great holiday weekend and don’t forget my sale going on now until Monday at MDM.

Take That!

So we went to the Mets game last night and unfortunately they lost. We were in the second to last row of the stadium and it was a bit chilly. But despite that, the pouring rain and the loss, John and I had a good time. We did get to see David Wright get his first home-run of the season! Davey is my boy and he has been in kinda a slump lately, so it was nice to see him hit a homer. People around us were trash talking him much to my chagrin and then he rocketed that ball outta the park. Serve them right, jerks! =P

Speaking of Davey, yesterday he and a few other Mets were airline gate attendants on a Delta flight! To mark Delta’s emergence from Chapter 11 and subsequent re-branding, David, Willie Randolph and and Endy Chavez were at LaGuardia’s Marine Air Terminal taking tickets from Gate 2 passengers. How cool would that have been to get your ticket taken from a Met?!!

Mets Visual Eye Candy

I’m loving the new graphic look for the Mets this season. Very bold and love the “ticket stub” look! And the funny animated commercials from SNY New York are too funny which feature the Mets commentators – Keith Hernandez, Ron Darling and Gary Cohen.

A Good Friday

Any Friday is a good Friday but today is really a Good Friday! He he he! =)

So I got my Shutterfly scrapbook last night and it ROCKS!!! The quality is amazing and I can’t wait to print more books through them! I highly recommend using them and trying out the custom scrapbook option! I will be printing more soon!

How awesome is this? My favorite baseball player, David Wright has now been immortalized in wax! Madame Tussauds in NYC unveiled this week their new David Wright wax statue! I always thought wax statues were scary but now I need to check this out! I’ll try not to drool over it..he he he!

Lately I’ve been noticing in tons of ads they use scrapbooking products like photo frames, flourish swirls and page flips. Maybe advertising influences digital scrapbook products but either way it’s cool that it’s all around us for visual eye candy. Here’s some stuff from Payless that I came across lately for their Easter promotion. Love the green, the flourish and the bunny. The bunny is so subtle in the green swirl…very cute.

Anyways, have a wonderful Easter and see you next week if not sooner!
