Me

I started off January doing so well taking lots of pictures and self portraits but then it all went to hell in February and March. My day job has been quite insane these past few months and it has sucked out all my creative energy. I’m hoping to start again with taking photos and trying to document life better in April. Layout uses Michelle Underwood‘s new kit, Romance Me available at Two Peas in a Bucket.

Daisy Mae

My latest layout of my niece and nephew using Michelle Underwood’s new kit, Daisy Mae was featured on the Two Peas in a Bucket newsletter. It’s always a nice surprise and honor seeing my designs featured.

On a side note, I’ve fallen way behind on Project Life. I’ve decided to just do a monthly roundup although I’m behind on that too. Hope you all are faring better then I am with this project.

Anyways, happy Monday and way to go NY Giants!!

Memory Keeping, My Way

I’ve been on the fence lately about what project I want to start this year to document my everyday life. There’s Project Life, Project 365 and Project 52 – all great options but all slightly overwhelming for me. As of right now I’m trying to take a photo a day (or more) and scrap a layout at the end of the week documenting what happened that week. So it’s kinda a mash up of Project 365 and Project Life. So far I’ve only done one layout and already fallen behind but I did keep up with taking the photos. I’m trying not to feel pressure here and just have fun.Although this past year I did a great job keeping up with my daily 5 year journal which I’m proud to say is completely fill for 2011. It was so exciting to start fresh for 2012! My 5 year journal is one of the best things I purchased as a memory keeper. It allows you to record 5 years all in one page, which will be interesting to read later on in life. Also, I just started a 5 year Q & A, question journal which should be fun to fill out. It’s the same concept of the regular 5 year journal but each day has a specific question.

So whatever you do to memory keep in 2012 have fun and do what works best for you!

Camera Ready!

A new layout of John & I from our Fall Foliage boat tour featuring Michelle Underwood’s latest kit, Camera Ready available at Two Peas in a Bucket!

Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving,

Ruffles & Rust

Last weekend was the 15th anniversary of my grandmother’s death, so I wanted to do a layout to honor her. I used designs from Michelle Underwood’s new kit, Ruffles and Rust for the most part with some other elements. The design is clean and simple – just the way I like it!

I hope you have a Happy Halloween and survived the first snow of the winter, errr I mean Fall!

US Open 2011

I’m a little late but Happy Fall! Lately I haven’t felt like blogging or even scrapbooking, but I did finish a few layout this past weekend. Here’s one of them of us from the US Open last month. We had a fun afternoon and we even spotted Bradley Cooper, Ron Rifkin (who sat together — mini Alias reunion), Dennis Leary and Alec Baldwin in the crowd, which was an added bonus!

Check the gallery out for my other new layouts and if not I’ll post them here soon!

On Top of the World

Here’s my latest and greatest layout using Michelle Underwood’s new kit, On Top of the World. In this layout are my adorable niece and nephew on their first day of summer camp this year.

Being Awesome

Here’s my latest layout of my niece, Kayley being awesome and cute using several Michelle Underwood kits, which are available at Two Peas in a Bucket.

Toy Story 3

I can’t believe it’s been a year almost to the date since we saw Toy Story 3. Finally got around to documenting it – actually I wrote up the journaling part first and then that inspired my creativity for the layout. And how cute are those ribbon characters from Rachel Young?? Love them!

Have a great weekend and a wonderful Father’s Day!

Present Laughter & Weekend Wrap Up

In honor of the Tony’s that was on last night (which was very good – go Neil Patrick Harris, Hugh Jackman and Daniel Radcliffe for the great numbers) I wanted to share a layout from the play, Present Laughter that featured the amazingly talented and dashing Victor Garber (whom I adore)!

The weekend was good – celebrated my nephew Jackson’s 7th birthday and my dear friend from college had her baby girl as well. A good weekend all around!
