Last weekend was the 15th anniversary of my grandmother’s death, so I wanted to do a layout to honor her. I used designs from Michelle Underwood’s new kit, Ruffles and Rust for the most part with some other elements. The design is clean and simple – just the way I like it!

This past weekend was our niece’s 1st dance recital, which was so cute. She did great and was really excited about the whole show. Seeing the dancers reminded me of my dance recital days which makes me want to find my photos and do a layout. I’m sure my niece would get a kick out of seeing those photos.

I had fun playing around with the kit with my layout documenting my 2nd cousin, Kaitlin and I reconnecting a few months ago. It always feels good to capture a special memory and be able to preserve it for the future in a scrapbook layout.
I have finally gotten back into scrapbooking and just in time to play with Michelle Underwood‘s new kit, Take Note.
My mom emailed me this photo recently and I thought it was a good memory to record of my Dad and I from the circus. I still can’t believe this was so long ago, time sure does march forward when you aren’t looking. We don’t have much planned today as I’m freelancing at a company and not sure I’ll get out at a decent time. We aren’t really the type of couple to do anything for Valentine’s Day anyways – plus we are still feeling under the weather. Anyways, whatever you do or don’t do today hope it’s filled with love!
